Affordable Housing Council
AHC works with the MBA to help make a positive political environment for the home building industry.
Associates Council
"Members Doing Business with Members" is the slogan for this council that supports the association through various events and networking opportunities.
Auction Committee
This Committee oversees all aspects of the MBA's annual fundraising event held each Spring.
Board of Directors
The 30-member board, which oversees the operation of the MBA, includes four chair officers and the chairs of all the councils.
Design Professionals Council
The Design Professionals Council's primary goal is to create a stronger community of association members involved with the design aspects of the building industry statewide.
Finance Committee
This committee reviews the budget and expenditures of the Association.
Housing Policy Committee
Representatives from each council sit on the HPC to set policy, legislative and regulatory goals, and coordinate the legislative agenda.
HomeAid Master Builders Care Committee
This committee facilitates the construction or renovation of a transitional housing facility for a local charitable organization.
King County Builders Council
A forum of builders and associates work to address proposed legislation in King County and meet with elected officials and staff.
Master Builders Care Foundation Board of Directors
The Master Builders Care Foundation is a non-profit corporation that spearheads many opportunities for MBA members to give back to the community.
Master Builders Career Connection Board of Directors
The Master Builders Career Connection oversees the various training opportunities provided by the Association and awards scholarships.
Membership Council
This council works to recruit new members, retain current members and develop member benefit programs.
Painting a Better Tomorrow Committee
Painting a Better Tomorrow is an annual event where members and friends of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish counties perform facility repairs and cosmetic upgrades to emergency and transitional housing.
Professional Women in Building
Professional Women in Building recognizes and supports women in the building industry. The council is dedicated to promoting education, community service, networking and mentoring.
Rampathon Committee
This committee facilitates a program in which MBA members donate time and materials toward building ramps for physically challenged adults and children.
Referral Network
The Referral Network is focused on helping members increase their business through a structured referral system and to provide members a venue in which they may give and receive business from trustworthy professionals.
Remodelors Council
Remodelers and associate members make up this active council that offers a referral service, staffs a Home Show booth, and conducts the annual Rampathon and Remodeled Homes Tour.
ResCon Safety Group
The ResCon Safety Group provides a free monthly opportunity to improve knowledge of how to prevent accidents, comply with safety regulations, control claim costs and connect with top safety professionals in the industry.
Sales and Marketing Council
SMC members are involved in sales, marketing and construction of new homes through education, events and networking.
Seattle Builders Council
The Seattle Builders Council addresses land use, codes and other regulatory issues that occur within the city of Seattle.
Snohomish County Council (DBIC)
A forum of builders and associates work to address proposed legislation in Snohomish County and meet with elected officials and staff.
South King Issues Group (SKIG)
A forum of builders and associates work to address proposed legislation in southern and far eastern King County.
