Sam Anderson, Executive Officer
Sam Anderson took the reins as MBA's executive officer in January, 1998. He came to our association from the National Ski Areas Association in Colorado and says the two industries are similar in that both focus on growth management and quality-of-life issues. Sam now manages a staff of 41 and works closely with the Board of Directors to implement all of our associations's programs and events.

Rick Miller, Chief Operating Officer
Rick Miller is responsible for ensuring the financial health and helping plan the future of the Association. Rick oversees the Associations' operational departments (Administration, Communications, Education, Events, Finance, Information Systems, Membership, Trade Show Operations and Sales and Marketing). |

Aaron Adelstein, Built Green® Director
Aaron Adelstein oversees all aspects of the Built Green program, a certifier of environmentally friendly single family homes, multi-family units, remodels and developments. Built Green is one of the most successful green building certification programs in the U.S. with more than 200 member builders, 430 member companies and 10,000 projects certified.

Allison Butcher, Public Affairs Director
Allison Butcher is responsible for issue advocacy on behalf of our association. She engages in all aspects of public affairs as they relate to developing and delivering industry messages on growth and development issues to the public, the media and elected officials. Allison performs research to provide credible arguments for and against industry issues. |

James Cadungug, Events Director
James Cadungug is a certified meeting professional who works closely with the entire membership managing the planning and execution of events for the association. This includes the annual auction, awards ceremonies, monthly council breakfast and dinner meetings, golf tournaments, home tours, home shows and membership gatherings. |

George Capestany, Director of Marketing and Business Development
In his role as Director of Marketing and Business Development, George is continuously investigating opportunities for revenue enhancement for our association and oversees our advertising and sponsorship sales team. Additionally, his responsibilities include conducting internal audits and examinations of areas within the association where we may have the ability to save money thereby creating the equivalent of revenue. |

Larry Chimenti, Membership Director
Larry Chimenti is responsible for membership recruitment and benefits. In
addition to actively recruiting members himself, Larry develops contests
and incentives to motivate members to recruit their peers. He continually
searches for new benefits and services to serve the membership of one of
the largest local home builder organizations in the United States. |

Jeff Danks, Controller
Jeff Danks oversees all accounting functions of the association and its related organizations, providing the Association with its financial instruments, budgets, controls and reports. Jeff supervises four accounting staff. He also acts as staff liaison to the Association's Finance Committee. |

Don Davis, Government Affairs Director
Don Davis works with the Metropolitan King County Council, the King County Executive, and other local government officials to make housing more affordable in Washington's largest county. Don oversees a government affairs staff of four. |

Cathy Feole, MBCC Executive Director
As the Master Builders Career Connection Executive Director, Cathy Feole develops and fundraises for programs that provide financial support to improve trade technical skills, increase workforce levels and diversity, and raise consumer knowledge about the home building and remodeling industry. In addition, she works to build and sustain coalitions with community service groups, educational institutions and school boards, local government, and other education foundations. |

Lynda Hester, Director of Administration
Lynda Hester manages the daily operations of the Association, including human resources and building facilities. She works in partnership with the Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer and maintains association policies and procedures. Lynda is staff liaison to the Board of Directors, Chair Officers, and four of the six board standing committees. She supervises the reception staff. |

Scott Hildebrand, Public Policy Director
Scott Hildebrand is the Public Policy Director at the MBA. In that capacity, he oversees all the political operations of the Association, as well as being the director of the Association's political action committee, the Affordable Housing Council. In addition to these duties, Scott is one of two registered state lobbyists at the Association. |

David Hoffman, King County Manager
David Hoffman is the King County Manager of Government Affairs. He is responsible for monitoring the Metropolitan King County Council, city councils and school board within the county. He also maintains a working relationship with legislators at the state and federal level. David is the staff liaison to the King County Builders Council. |

Garrett Huffman, South King County Manager
Garrett Huffman is the South King County Manager. As the Association's representative to the rapidly expanding southern region of King County, Garrett serves as the liaison between membership and municipalities while advocating changes favorable to a positive housing market and an expanding business climate. Garrett is the staff liaison to the Seattle Builders Council and the South King Issues Group. |

Jennifer Jerabek, South Snohomish County Manager
As the South Snohomish County Manager for Government Affairs, Jennifer Jerabek advocates for policies that further affordable housing and community development in the cities of Mukilteo, Snohomish, Monroe, Sultan, Gold Bar, Mill Creek, Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace and Brier. In addition, Jennifer works with with other regional agencies, utilities, chambers, and industry-related groups to promote and affect homebuilder and homebuyer issues. |

Janna Parry, Director of Information Systems
Janna Parry manages the information systems of the Association, maintaining the data, telephony and security systems at the MBA Housing Center. Additionally, as webmaster Janna works closely with the Communications department to keep the MBA website up-to-date and in the production of the Association's online newsletters. |

Melanie Workhoven, Communications Director
Melanie Workhoven is editor of MBA's monthly magazine, Master Builder, and edits the association's newsletters, booklets and brochures. She handles all media and public relations for the Association and develops the MBA's communications materials. |

Mike Pattison, North Snohomish County Manager
Mike Pattison is the North Snohomish County Manager for Government Affairs. His responsibilities include the Snohomish County Council and north county cities. Mike also serves on several committees dealing with issues such as housing affordability and salmon. |

Jay Schupack, MBCF Executive Director
Jay Schupack oversees the planning and development of programs and projects for the Master Builders Care foundation. In addition, he creates and implements community service and fundraising plans and opportunities and promotes public awareness of the MBA and the foundation's public service activities. |
