Tod Sakai
Sockeye Construction Corp, Panelist
In recognition of his business success, Tod received the Emerging Trader of the Year Award from Governor Locke in 2003. Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties presented Tod the Remodeler Member of the Year Award in 2014, and following the achievement, he was elected to take the helm as Chairman of the BIAW Remodelers Council in 2017, where he also received the Washington State Remodeler of the Year award.
Samantha Kunkel
Armadillo Painting, Panelist
Samantha Kunkel has owned Armadillo Painting for 16+ years, and has grown the company from its small roots to a multi-division company today that continues to grow and evolve. Samantha is always looking to learn from others who have gone before her and grow as a leader. She is passionate about creating a successful, long term company that creates opportunity for others and adds value to each customer it engages with.
Amy Ecklund
AmyWorks, Inc., Panelist
Amy started AmyWorks in 2010 after realizing there was a niche and a need for women in the residential home repair and remodeling field. She is currently co-chair of the Technical Advisory Committee for the Wood Tech Center associated with Seattle Central College. Her greatest joy in business is helping the client realize their remodeling dreams, along with providing a great place to work for her employees.
